Opennote

Opennote is a YC-backed AI study platform built around Galileo, an AI thinking partner that answers questions and explains concepts against a student's own notes and materials — replacing the five separate apps students usually juggle for notes, lectures, and flashcards. As part of the contract engineering team, we worked across the frontend notebook UI and the Galileo AI tutor integration, shipping feature work end to end. Opennote was used by 50,000+ students; it was acquired by Reducto in 2026.
